It is really important that before you win or lose a deal that the deal reflects the history of your communications, tasks and actions. Old deals are subject to audits and performance management.

It is also important, when losing a deal to add a valid reason for the loss as this will impact reporting.


GCLID and amounts

It is very important that the GCLID field in the deal NOT be touched as that is used by internal tracking purposes.

Equally important is the dollar amount of the deal.

This is important because we send Google the value of the deal won and we compare how much we have spent on a keyword vs how much revenue we have written off the keyword.

The value of the deal is also used in reporting and is vital to be correct.
